History and Purpose
The International Cardiac Doppler Society (ICDS) was founded in 1984 by
leading international medical professionals in order to
promote the use of ultrasound for clinical applications through the
understanding of cardiovascular dynamics and through international and
multi-disciplinary cooperation.
